The Golden State Warriors, reassigned Brian Scalabrine a couple weeks ago to their Development League team because of what Mark Jackson called a “difference in philosophies.”
Now, they have fired assistant coach Darren Erman. Although not all the details have not been released as to why he has been fired, there are reports floating around that Erman committed “a violation of company policy.”
From the GM of the Warriors:
“Obviously, the timing is unfortunate, but we hold all of our employees, whether in basketball operations or other aspects of the business, accountable for their actions and to the same standard,” said General Manager Bob Myers. “We move forward and thank Darren for his contributions.”
Let’s wait and see how these will affect the team.
