The Carolina Panthers have been having the worst offseason that I have ever seen. Not only have they lost all of their wide receivers and haven’t really replaced them, but now Cam Newton is out for a few months because of ankle surgery.
Newton has been one of the most hit QB’s in the league over the past couple of years. Now he has nobody to throw to and a bum ankle. He is also in a contract year so who knows how all of this is going to play out.
Cam Newton will undergo an ankle procedure Wednesday at Carolinas Medical Center for soreness that has existed since the end of the season.
